The Mercado

Hours of operation: Wednesdays and Saturdays 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
Amigos de Jesus offers a Mercado to our clientele, where volunteers distribute food, toiletries and daily essentials to local families, providing Spanish-speaking assistance to those in need. We also distribute seasonal and other life essentials, such as fans or air conditioners in the summer, heaters in the winter, and bikes, work gloves, and socks. We work with our local grocery stores as much as possible, and focus on providing healthy and low-glycemic food and fresh produce.

Amigos de Jesus proudly supports other local services through our donations and the volunteer efforts of our Board and staff, including Back to School Fiesta and the Lion's Club Wimberley Market Days.
