Volunteer opportunities

The Mercado. We are always seeking volunteers for shifts on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays from 10:00am to 12:30pm for those who are interested in donating their time and talents. Spanish-speaking is extremely helpful, but not required. The Mercado is our “food pantry” where we also distribute a few basic home essentials (such as heaters in the winter, fans in the summer) and hygiene products.

Amigos College and Career Readiness Program (AMP). Amigos is excited to be launching Amigos College and Career Readiness Program (AMP) this fall 2023. Our mission is to support 9-12th grade students as they explore and pursue post secondary opportunities like trade school, community college, University or certification programs. Please contact us for more information on how you can help our students grow and succeed.

Annual Coat Drive. Amigos is partnering with Chapel in the Hills to collect and give away warm weathering clothing on 11/8/2025. We are accepting gently used and new warm weather clothing for children and adults the entire month of November.  Please check your closets and share what you can!
