Why attend AMP?
We understand that planning for life after high school can be overwhelming. Our free program offers personalized guidance to help your child uncover their unique talents, explore their passions, and make informed decisions about their future. We're committed to empowering every student to discover their potential and thrive after graduation.
Students who attend AMP meetings and who participate in AMP events will have higher priority when applying for Amigos scholarships as seniors in the spring.
We hope your student will join us on this exciting journey of self-discovery and future planning!

How AMP has helped students:
“I did not really think that college was an option for me. Now I am hopeful that I have choices.“ AMP Student 2023-2024
"I get it now. I see that I can and I want to go to college." AMP student 2024-2025
"AMP has helped me fill out the FAFSA and get enough aid and scholarships to be able to attend Texas State University. I learned about the magic of having a network. I got help filling out applications and writing college essays. AMP took us to tour ACC and Texas State. I learned how to be more comfortable writing emails and asking questions about my future." AMP student 2023-2025
“People were always asking me if I was going to college but I was hesitant to answer. Then I went to the ACC Make it Center/Highland campus tour and I felt a wave of passion sweep over me to pursue a higher education. Seeing people there share their passion for what they were studying truly relit a spark of hope that I had when I was a child.”
